Amanda Simard is the Ontario PC candidate for Glengarry-Prescott-Russell.
As a lifelong engaged community member and resident of Glengarry-Prescott-Russell with deep family roots in the community, Amanda understands the challenges faced by local businesses, residents, and farmers. Currently serving as a municipal councillor, Amanda has proven to have an incredible work-ethic and dedication to serving her constituents.
Fluently bilingual in both French and English, Amanda serves her community on various boards and committees. Amongst many recognitions, Amanda was a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal and the Canadian Millennium Scholarship for leadership, innovation, academic excellence, and community service.
Amanda holds a law degree (Juris Doctor) from the University of Ottawa and has extensive experience working on Parliament Hill in various capacities, including as a Policy Advisor. She knows how to navigate government and deliver results.
Amanda represents a strong voice of change for the residents of Glengarry-Prescott-Russell, and will work tirelessly so that families can pay less and get ahead.
